===O’Yaara Aaayi Vaisakhi 2021===

A musical show specially produced for Vaisakhi 2021 focusing on festive mode for the viewers at home. . A string of performances raging from the vibrant dhols to make our feet to dance to the colourful gidha and energetic bhangra performances featuring talented local artistes was premiered on 13 April, 6.30pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand. This show was produced by Mojo Projects Sdn Bhd, this one and a half hour musical special presents three vocal powerhouses: Raina Arvinder Singh, Ashvinder Kaur Gill and Kiret Singh in a mix of solo, duet and group performances, belting out popular punjabi songs as well as hit songs from movies, backed by a live band led by local music director, Lawrence Soosai.

=== Vishuppulari 2021===

A Vishu special musical with spectacular line-up of songs and dance performances was premiered on 14th April at 6.30pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand that will showcase the true tradition of Vishu. This show featured Malaysian finest artistesincluding Datin Sri Shaila V, Vani Nethiar, Shastan K , Sabesh Manmathan and Hashmitha Selvam for an exuberant performances. Explosive Chendamelam, Vishu melodies, Mohini attam to Thiruvathirakali all in one show. On the other hand, all the main elements that lies in Vishu celebration was highlighted in this show such as Vishu Kanikkaanal ( that which is seen first) , Vishu Kaineetam ( a token of blessing ) and Vishu Sadhya ( a multi-course vegetarian meal served on banana leaf. Moreover, “KANI KAANUM NERAM” is a Malayalam Devotional Song dedicated to Lord Krishna, beautiful rendition by veteran playback singer Sri Srinivas on Vishuppulari.

===Kathirvel Kaaka : Thaipusam 2021===

Mojo Projects present Kathirvel Kaaka (Murugan Devotional Songs), a Thaipusam special dedicated to ardent devotees of Lord Muruga. This collection of songs is sung by prominent and upcoming Malaysian singers. The music, composed by Thiban and Raguraman, features live musical instruments performed by musicians in India. The songs vary in terms of musical genre, beats and rhythm. A total of 10 songs have been composed and recorded with music videos as standalone content was premiered on Astro Vaanavil, Astro Vinmeen and Astro Ulagam during this year Thaipusam festival. The songs are divided into 2 categories which is 5 songs sung by children and 5 songs sung by adult artistes.

These Murugan devotional songs will see the vocals of Raguraman, TMS Sivakanthan, Sharmila Sivaguru, Siddarth, Hashmitha Selvam, Jayashree Maran, Yogashri Maran, Kashika Selvam, Haraniya, Reelosiniy, Suthiksha Baloo, Paaviena Pubalan, Thurgaashini Selvakumar and Aghalya Manimohan. The locations for these songs were carefully picked to included temples and landscapes that are relevant to the devotional feel.

The annual Thaipusam festival is celebrated in honour of Lord Murugan, who represents virtue, youth, and power. Devotees seek blessings and fulfil their vows by carrying milk pots as offerings. Many also carry kavadi – structures of steel and wood – and pierce their bodies with steel rods, among other things. The Malaysian Hindu community notably celebrates Thaipusam in Batu Caves, a sacred place for adherents of the faith. Other places that are sites for Thaipusam festivities are the Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Temple, also known as the Waterfall Hill Temple, in Penang and the Arulmigu Subramaniyar Kallumalai Temple in Ipoh, Perak.

=== Anbendra Mazhaiyile ===

A musical show specially produced for Christmas 2020 focusing on famous Tamil film, gospel music and famous Christmas English Songs featuring talented local artistes was premiered on 25 December, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand. This show was produced by Mojo Projects Sdn Bhd, this one and a half hour musical special presents six vocal powerhouses: Datin Seri Manimala, M. S. Breetoe, Preetha Prasad, Aanantha Rajaram, Gayathri Thandapany and Amos Paul in a mix of solo, duet and group performances, belting out popular Christmas songs as well as hit songs from movies, backed by a live band led by local music director, Lawrence Soosai.

=== Malarum Punnagai ===

An unplugged retro musical show featured Malaysian yesteryear artistes including Datin Seri Manimala, M. S. Breetoe, TMS Sivakanthan, Sharmila Sivaguru, Preetha Prasad and Aanantha Rajaram was premiered on 14 November, 9.30pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand showcasing music from the 50s to the 70s by Indian music icons, A. M. Rajah, P. Susheela, P. B. Sreenivas, P. Banumathi and T. M. Soundararajan (TMS). Musically it was a acoustical or an unplugged version of the great classic tunes that was
not produced before. Musical instruments such as Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Drumset, Congo, flute and few more relevent instruments used to tune the songs. Nevertheless, the show also was focused on the singers and their career in a form of short clips were featured their childhood interests and all the way to making their hits in 80’s and 90s. This was narrated with voice over not more than 1 minute for each artiste.The production was recorded in studio with MCP and studio lighting with Deepavali mood and a grand look for golden melodies

=== Rap Porkalam ===

RAP Porkalam is a Tamil rap competition to recognize and elevate raw talents in Malaysia. A bunch of talented rappers will go through layers of intense one-on-one battles, and only one will be crowned as Malaysia’s Tamil rapping champ.

The competition was being held with combination of Astro Ulagam and Mojo Projects featuring Emcee Jesz @ Kavithai Gundar who is one of the pioneers of International Tamil Hip Hop

Astro Ulagam’s search for the best Malaysian Tamil rapper has cleared its first hurdle, with the audition for its contest Rap Porkalam, having successfully concluded on 11th January 2020. A total of 83 aspiring rappers attended the audition at Astro Bukit Jalil and out of the number, 16 participants have been selected to be a part of the competition which will premiere on Vinmeen HD CH231 from 22nd February 2020 onwards. Here are the 16 rappers who will battle it out in the coming rounds to emerge the champion and walk away with a collaboration with Sony Music Malaysia for a debut single release. All the contestants are addressed by their nicknames here.

=== Road to Thaipusam ===

The Thaipusam is a festival where is celebrated by Hindus around the world on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February). Astro Ulagam’s Road to Thaipusam 2020 is an 8- documentation collection from Malaysia. This series highlighted 3 key digital series which were Thaipusam Special Short bytes, Heroes of Thaipusam and Docu- Reality Story, My Vow. Mojo Projects Sdn Bhd took over the production of the series and Road to Thaipusam series was premiered on Astro Ulagam channel from 5th February 2020 to 7th February 2020.

The first digital series was Thaipusam Special Short Bytes consisting of Ratham Documentary, Insight into Batu Caves Murugan Statue and Thaipusam-Why Malaysia. Ratham Documentary was a video content that shares Golden chariot which will go in procession from the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in the city to the Sri Subramaniar Temple in Batu Caves. They started in the wee hours of the morning (04:00) with a procession from Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Kuala Lumpur’s oldest Hindu temple carrying a golden chariot with a statue of Lord Subramanian, it is accompanied by several hundred worshippers and arrives at Batu Caves by noon. Insight into Batu Caves Murugan Statue was a video that shares about the Lord Murugan statue, which is 42.7sk meters high(140 ft) is the tallest statue in Malaysia, and second Hindu deity in the world.

                       

Last segment of this first series was Thaipusam-Why Malaysia. Malaysia has one of the biggest communities of South Indians (Tamil Cultured) diaspora. With Batu Caves having one of the unique infrastructures which has attracted the attention of many tourists locally and internationally. Thaipusam in Malaysia is the largest and most significant Hindu public display in the country. Batu Caves is one of the Holiest Shrine Outside of Malaysia due to devotion & spiritual vibes of the devotee.

         

Heroes of Thaipusam was the second digital series of Road to Thaipusam. Cleaners were one of the heroes of Thaipusam 2020, 30 contract workers and 10 municipal council were working together to tidy up the area following the festivities and the cost for 10 days of clean-up. Every year, more than 1,500 volunteers from 14 government agencies will be tasked to assist the celebration including medical and emergency assistance.

The Health Ministry provided 24-hour medical service at the Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple grounds in Batu Caves for three days in conjunction with the Thaipusam festival. Government Agencies were involved in safety & security management including Health Ministry, Fire and Rescue Department, Malaysian Civil Defence Department while NGOs include Malaysian Red Crescent, Malaysian Indian Voluntary Ambulance Services, St Johns Ambulance Malaysia, KTM Komuter and Sapura. Kavadi Makers are appreciated as they are required to start the preparation of Kavadi 48 days before two-day Thaipusam festival. The devotees prepared themselves by following strict purification austerities. Uthavum Karanggal effort video shared the journey of volunteers who helped the disabled devotees to fulfil their vows and complete their prayers without difficulties.

             

The final digital series of Road to Thaipusam Documentation was Docu- Reality Story. “My Vow” was a docu-reality video that shared the journey of a devotee going through her Thaipusam pledge as well as those who have experience. The video started off with the devotee sharing her story and why it’s important to her as she proves her gratitude to Lord Murugan. The video has showcased the temple experience and snippets of the devotees doing the “Paal Kavadi” during Thaipusam. The video has summarized the experience of “Paal Kavadi” and to understand how they feel about performing their vows.

=== Yoga Revolution Series ===

The Yoga Revolution (TYR) was the first in-house travelogue series produced by Mojo Projects. This series were shot in 2 languages, English and Tamil consisting 13 episodes each. The Yoga Revolution in Tamil follows four Malaysian yogis from various backgrounds in their personal journey to find out more about the increasing diversity of the yoga and wellness movement in the five Asian yoga destinations, Rishikesh and Mysore in India, Nepal, Bali, Bangkok and Malaysia. In the meantime, the English series was entirely anchored to the five yoga destinations by one host. There is currently a post-production process and the series is ready for release by the end of December 2020 and mainstream platforms.
