Malaysian Independent Live Fusion Festival (MILFF 2019) was held on 23rd
November 2019 at StarXpo, Kenaga Wholesale City, Kuala Lumpur. MILFF 2019
had guarenteed top notch music, spectacular sound and light; an awesome full scale
concert experience. Malaysia’s very own The Jagats, will open for India’s Nikhil
Mathew, the first champion of Airtel Super Singer back in 2006. The Jazzy Neha
Venugopal, an independent favorite of Indo-Soul. The band, which included
musicians of various genres, such as carnatic and rock, produces a sound that is
closer to your classical fusion music., The five-piece Chennai-based band is lead by
the lead violinist and vocalist, frontman Karthick Iyer. For the first time, the veena
extraordinaire Rajhesh Vaidhya played 60 songs in 60 minutes on stage, re-creating
the Asian Book of Records for the first time in Malaysia as part of the Do You Have a
Minute series. He is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing and technically beguiling
artists in the Veena and Southern Indian music tradition. For the first time,
Shakthisree Gopalan, the versatile singer-songwriter and playback singer, brought
her different influences and musical worlds together. Over the years dabbling in
Pop, R’n’B, Triphop and Jazz, the 31-year-old architect by profession has had
considerable effect in the independent musical scene and has played with several
bands. Haricharan, a music connoisseur from a family, learnt Carnatic music at the
age of seven. Since then he has recorded and won numerous awards for hundreds
of songs for the Indian film industry. Shweta Mohan has performed over 500 songs
in popular Indian languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and
Hindi. Haricharan and Shweta Mohan kept everyone seated with Bennet and Band
backing them up
